Call for applications for President of EWB Toronto Pro Chapter!

Thank you for your interest in applying to be President of the Toronto Professional Chapter of Engineers Without Borders Canada (EWB) for the 2017-2018 cycle.

You are taking a big step – this role is likely to be one of the most challenging and rewarding ones you have yet to take on. It will require significant commitment over the next 15 months: continuous investment in yourself and in those around you, humility and willingness to learn, all while still striving to achieve great change. Note that this application form is not an evaluation – it is intended to make you reflect on the role you will be taking on, the outcomes you would like to achieve in the context of this role and how you can maximize your potential in doing so. Your application will be reviewed by the outgoing President, who will follow up with you personally to support and push your thinking.

Your completed application form must be returned by midnight on Sunday, March 31st, 2017 to yenaahadzie@ewb.caA meeting or phone call with the chapter president will be scheduled within three weeks to discuss your application. This is not an interview situation, but rather an opportunity for you to understand the commitment you are making and think critically about what you can and want to bring to the table as President.

Water For the World Workshops 2017

Come join the Water for the World (WFTW) program and teach young students (grades 5-9) about issues surrounding global access to clean water. WFTW is a partnership between Engineers Without Borders Canada, National Engineering Month (NEM) and the Toronto Public Library. 

 
W4TW will take place this year from March 20-24 – sign up to deliver a 1.5 hour workshop and help educate the change-makers of the future! We ask all volunteers to join us for our training dayMarch 11 to prepare to deliver the program . Past volunteers have the option of reviewing training online. Once you have signed up for training, or reviewed training online, please register to deliver a workshop.
