Vision
We envision an informed, empowered, and compassionate professional community in Toronto that will ultimately strive to achieve impact in humanizing and alleviating extreme poverty.
Mission
Energize and support the growth of social entrepreneurs who will promote human development in the workplace and take action to contribute to alleviating extreme poverty.
How it all began
In June 2007, the birth of an Engineers Without Borders Toronto professional chapter took place. Meetings were held throughout the summer where aspirations for the chapter were shared amongst a group of twelve individuals motivated and excited to see the chapter through its infancy stage. The culmination of discussions on chapter vision, values, and potential activities led to a chapter retreat in September 2007 which set the stage for the year ahead.
What we're doing now
